How can Viral Marketing influence the global marketing?



Viral marketing or Online word-of-mouth can be defined as a marketing technique that seeks to take advantage of pre-existing social networks to produce exponential growth in brand awareness.

Global selling and buying can be a part of a social process and through this technique can reach a large number of people rapidly. If a campaign is successful in developing the viral marketing then it can be easily spread.


Evian (brand name of mineral water) is one of the most successful viral campaigns. 

In April 2013, the company developed the "Baby & Me" commercial.
