Celebrity branding is a form of branding or advertising where a celebrity becomes a brand ambassador/representative. The celebrity uses his/her status in society in order to promote or endorse a product, service or charity.

The fact that celebrities are globally famous and have lots of followers can make marketers to consider their status as an essential way to attract consumers’ attention. The potential consumers could link the brand with the celebrities’ personal image and connect their positive attributes with those of the product concerned.
